Usu diet/minor virus:
If you are fine now, a brief episode of diarrhea in a healthy person may be due to something in your diet or to a minor viral infection.
If you continue to have symptoms, make an appointment with your physician. Pay attention to see if there are any foods that seem to regularly give you diarrhea such as, for example, dairy products.

I would go to ER: If someone has diarrhea or vomiting from food poisoning or a virus, drinking Gatorade, pedialite or other electrolyte fortified water is a good way to try to stay hydrated. From your description with sharp abdominal pain X 3 days you could even have perforated appendicitis or ulcer. It is best to go to urgent care or ER for evaluation. I've been having abdominal pain, sometimes severe. Follows eating. Occurs with diarrhea (often) or constipation from imodium (loperamide). Dr. Not sure it's lupus ?
Not lupus: This sounds more like reflux (gerd), ulcer, or gastritis. An allergic reaction to certain foods or a toxic reaction to certain food proteins (food protein enteropathy) is yet another possibility. These symptoms are not typical for lupus. See a gastroenterologist and/or allergist to sort it out. ...Read more

Right abdominal pain/cramping sharp stabbing pain in rt. Side/back diarrhea nausea vomitting on and off headache slight fever 99.9?
Right sided: If discomfort is quite localised to the right lower quadrant of the abdomen and especially if there's associated tenderness in that area, I would be concerned about appendicitis or right sided diverticulitis in view of accompanying fever. A viral intestinal infection is a less likely cause of these symptoms but could be the problem. However I recommend that you be examined tonight in the ER. ...Read more
