Possible gallblader : Pain just under the ribs could be gallbladder disease. If the pain is made worse by food and fatty food in particular it is probably gallbladder. Alternatively ulcer disease could give pain in the same location. You should see a doctor for further work up. ...Read more

Need Examination: We can not say what the small little lumps are without examination.Sharp pain under the rib cage on right side can be due to Gall Bladder Disease.Or if it is only in the lumps it can be an infectious process.Lipomas do not hurt as these are benign fatty tumors. Diaphragm : Could be a spasm of the diaphragm. You are correct age and it's on the correct side. Next time it occurs blow out all your breath, wait a few seconds then breath normally.
