Unclear: There are many parameters I do not know that would be helpful : how long you have had this cough, are you bending your head below your waist, have you eaten enough food / drank enough fluids, are there other symptoms. Help please! when i swallow i feel a sharp pain in the right side of my throat and it hurts for a lil then stops only when i swallow what is that?

Throat pain: At your age it is likely due to postnasal drip. I would check for allergies . Have you had a recent cold? It could also be an infection if you have any other signs a symptoms. I would first try an over the counter antihistamine if that does not help see your primary care doctor and they will help sort out the issue. This is not likely a serious problem.
