Last night I had a very sharp pain in my chest (left side) for like 30min. Taking deep breaths made it worse. Got it again this morning. What is it?
I started having a sharp pain in my chest very few minutes or so for the last 3 days.It happens at all times of day and night. I thought it might be acid reflux but i don't have any of the symphtons they list for that. The pain is in the center of my ches

Hummm: I am having a hard time connecting the two symptoms. The fact that the rib pain only occurs at night makes me think of a musculoskeletal pain, since it could be aggravated by recumbency. Lots of things: you don't share age or history, so it's hard to know. The scary cause of left sided chest pain is cardiac. thats more likely if you have cardiac risk factors and the pain is worse with exertion. If it hurts with breathing think lung problems.
