Sharp Pain In Left Upper Stomach
Been having worst sharp pain upper left stomach. In my back. Worst when I eat and super bad poop oily and smelly. Should I be worried? Has been worst?
I get sharp pain in left, upper abdomen and back followed by days of fatigue and dizziness. Many tests (incl. Hemo) show only enlarged spleen. Ideas?
This is something: You and your doctor to take is seriously . I do not know what tests you have so far , but i will encourage to keep your doctor informed about your situation . I believe your doctor would consider evaluating your kidney, pancreas and look for any problem in your left side of the colon and many others . I've had sharp pain in left side abdomen for last two hours that sharp pain been on and off every ten mins or so?
Abdominal pain: Sharp crampy left sided abdominal pains suggest irritability or inflammation of the descending colon such as seen in colitis or diverticulitis. Left ovarian or pelvic problems are another possibility if there are no associated bowel symptoms. I have constant flank back pain which started 1hr ago. Sometimes there's sharp pain in left back/abdomen when I move a certain way. Worse when laying.
Strain vs Stone: Two most likely causes are a low back strain or a kidney stone (nephrolithiasis). Kidney stones usually cause a pulsating pain, radiating to groin with no position that relieves pain, may cause blood n urine. Sharp pain in left lower abdomen probably ovary. It goes away quickly and comes suddenly. No other symptoms I guess. What is that?
