Testis pain: Most cases of pain in the testicle will resolve on their own. I would see your primary care doctor to make sure you don't have an infection first. If your symptoms persist longer than three months, you should probably see an urologist. ...Read more

Testis pain: Most cases of pain in the testicle will resolve on their own. If the pain is very severe and does not go away after an hour or so, go to the er to make sure you don't have torsion. If not, i would see your primary care doctor to make sure you don't have an infection first. If your symptoms persist longer than three months, you should probably see an urologist. ...Read more

Get evaluated.: There are many causes of testicular pain and you should see a physician for a history, physical examination, and then possibly a scrotal ultrasound. The most worrisome is torsion, when the blood supply to the testicle is twisted closed. Infections can result in epididymitis or orchitis. ? appendix testis: If pain is confined to tiny tender swelling on upper end of scrotum. Epididymitis or epididymal cyst could all produce theses symptoms. Suggest you see a urologist, who may well advise an ultrasound exam. Epididymitis means antibiotics & rest, epidymal cyst -> observation or excision depending upon severity of symptoms, similar for rorsion of appendix testis. ...Read more
