Sharp pain in left lower abdomen probably ovary. It goes away quickly and comes suddenly. No other symptoms I guess. What is that?

Consider hernia: Can't diagnose simply from description, but often times hernias (where the bowel pokes through the normal muscle) can occur in the area you described, and can cause the same symptoms. I've been sneezing and coughing for about 2days and just today i started experiencing sharp pain in my left lower abdomen when i sneeze/cough.
Had Paragard inserted Mon. Now sharp pain left lower abdomen. Will it stop? Is it normal? Follow up with doc next Fri. May just have it removed.
