Sounds dangerous: If you really have a blue ear, and it requires strong analgesics! Have you seen a doctor? If not, it's time to. It could be acrocyanosis, which is not dangerous but annoying. It usually affects other areas as well. Make sure nothing is putting pressure on the ear and that you don't stay in the cold.
