Tendonitis: Achilles area pain often is tendonitis. If the tendon is tender to the touch, esp. more than the opposite side, then it's probably the Achilles. Consider causes (exercise, poor footwear, etc.) and try to avoid exacerbating factors. Rest, ice, a short-course of NSAIDs, better shoes would be considerations. Something is wrong: Anytime you have pain, there is something wrong. There are a few possibilities. It could be the foot pain comes first, i.E plantar fascitis and as a result you are compensating or walking differently and then getting the leg pain.
