Right behind my right ear right on the bone has been tender. When I press in the area, a sharp pain shoots up my head. What could it be?
Occipital mastoid : bone tenderness may indicate outer ear or occipital lymph nodes involvement if there's also mild swelling. If no swelling then it could be a normal finding, as long as there's no inflammation present locally around the area. Pain is important to discuss with your doctor.
