I have severe sharp pain as soon as I begin to eat. The pain is NOT my stomache but just to the left of my stomache. Exactly where the pancrease (pancrelipase) sits.

You need to be seen!: Its time to get an Ob. It isn't normal to have a lot of pain in early pregnancy. These symptoms can sometimes indicate a problem pregnancy such as an ectopic or miscarriage. Needs to be checked: It could be bladder or urinary tract infection. Bladder pain: Hard to say exactly what this is, but you should have your urine tested for a UTI, or urinary stones. Any blood seen in the urine? Do you get sharp, sudden onset back/flank pain? Other things to look out for are fever/chills, burning/urgency/frequency when urinating. The main test here is a urinalysis which can be done in any clinic or urgent care center. Eating & drinking: Healthy food and drink is great. See doc to make sure all is well medically. Then, reflect on WHAT you are eating. Raw vegetables and fruits, for example, can be harder to digest than cooked food. Par-boiling raw foods may help w/digestion and relieve pain if your doc thinks this is the cause.
