I just found out I have lupus, i've been a smoker now im quitting i've had sharp pains in my head that come and go. No high BP tho. Casoconstriction?

My son-in-law has lupus and he gets extreme discomfort in the neck and head. It feels like fluid. Is there any way to relieve that pain?
Who feels fluid?: Do you mean you feel his head and neck and you feel something like fluid and swelling, or he feels like there is fluid inside his head? Lots of people have little sensitive places on the skin that can at times be painful and at times can tingle or feel like it's getting goosebumps or even go numb. Could UCTD with elements of lupus and sjogrens cause sporadic sweating resulting in hair plastered to my head (not hot flashes)?
Doubtful unless...: Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disorders (UCTD) should not affect the propensity to sweat. If, however, you are using steroid therapy (such as prednisone) then you could very well experience sporadic sweating as a side effect of steroid Rx and not the UCTD itself. ...Read more

What meds?: Coul;d be lupus, your meds, or something else. I recommend nutritional support using biotin 7500mcg, a b-50 complex, and folic acid. You did not decribe alopecia per se, but if you are sick, you are also catabolic, and hair falls out faster. Since you did not mention meds, i can't help you there.
