I had grommets inserted when i was 5 three times and now as a adult i get sharp inner ear pain that usually last to a minute. Is this normal?
Not from the tubes: Very unlikely the ear pain you are getting has anything to do with the tubes you had as a child. Most like cause is strain of the tempromandibulr joint(tmj). A rare condition called "nervous intermedius neuralgia" typically causes intense pain lasting several minutes to hours, and can be confirmed if loss of taste on the same side.
