Likey muscular: If the pain lasts less than 5 minutes at a time and/or you can make it worse or better by moving upper chest or arms then it is likely muscular in origin or even a pinched nerve. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for a short time period of less than a week should be enough. Longer than that should be looked at by your doctor. If not relieved by the above then see your doctor sooner to see what else is going on ...Read more
