TOO V CERVICAL DISC: SX are suggest cervical disc disease vs TOO (THORACIC OUTLET OBSTRUCTION)When you cough, sneeze or hiccup, you increase intrathoracic pressure and flare pain. Please see your doctor and get an MRI of the cervical spine and MRA of RUE to evaluate both conditions. The 2 can overlap and a NEURO CONSULT for EMG (ELECTROMYELOGRAM) may be needed. Also labs b12/folic acid/TFTS
Pain coming from the wrist. In general, the wrist is described as including the radial-carpal joint, the radial-ulnar joint, the joints between the eight carpal bones, and the joints between the carpal bones and the five metacarpal bones. Wrist pain can be caused from traumatic, degenerative, vascular, and inflammatory causes ...Read more
Sharp pain in wrist, travels up my hand into first 2 knuckles. Last night hand swelled up, slight burning sensasion when swelled. Any idea?
Repetitive wrist motion: Can cause this, similar to carpal tunnel syndrome. Often if you're typing a lot, doing hours of computer work, or playing piano or an instrument for hours, you can tighten these areas in the midback, and shoulders where the the arm is receiving innervation from the cervical/thoracic nerve roots. That can cause your wrists to swell, if the nerve is inflamed, necessitating splints. See a doctor (DO).
Right hand/wrist in cheer 3weeks ago. My fingers bent and touch my wrist being smashed cant move, in brace 3weeks sharp&burning pain from fingers up?

Burning sensation on left wrist last 10 seconds been going on for a week and a half no medication or injuries?
In certain cultures: This means either you are going to come into a large sum of money or you are going to have your car towed. Burning discomfort in the wrist associated with repetitive motions and numbness or parasthesias in the thumb, and first 2-3 fingers usually is due to irritation or compression of the median nerve. (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) If no injury rash has occurred I would ret it and see if it resolves.
Hours ago I got this burning sensation where my thumb and wrist meet up. Can anyone tell me what it could be and what can I do?
Tendon injury: inflammation or trauma to the tendon sheath of the thumb would be the first thought Have you overworked or traumatised your thumb? It may get better spontaneouly if you rest the thumb!
I am 18 years old and the inner part of my left wrist sometimes gets this burning sensation. I would like to know if that is normal. Also I'm a righty
NO: If you do a lot of texting or typing you may be getting inflammation at the base of your thumb. This is due to overuse of the thumb joint by the wrist.
Circular dry patch on my wrist more noticeable some days than others. I've noticed that when I put lotion it gets red and I feel a burning sensation.
The patch could be: eczema or atopic dermatitis, both due to very dry skin and perhaps allergies. As you suggest, dryness is the main culprit. It may burn because the skin is so dry that there are actually microscopic cuts/breaks in it which burn when chemicals applied. Many lotions have alcohols or acids (glycolic, azaelaic, lactic) that are irritating. Humidify, hydrate, use sensitive skin lotions/creams.
Neuralgia: It sounds like nerve irritation that could be coming from either a central location (cervical spine) or a peripheral nerve issue (ulnar, radial, median). Ligament and muscle issues could also be considered. An examination should be able to help you sort things out.
I get a striking, burning pain in my left wrist. Seconds later the pain is in the left side of my neck. What could this be?
Radiculopathy: One of your cervical nerve roots is pinched.
The front area of my right wrist hurts whenever I pushed myself up (like from a push up position). It gives a burning sensation when it hurts.
Strain vs. Tendonitis: What did a X-Ray / MRI show? There are several diagnoses ranging from tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, radiculopathy, RSI, nerve entrapment to TFCC tear vs. fracture. Thus you need a good exam & may need an EMG. Once the diagnosis is clear we can develop a clear treatment plan which may ultimately include a wrist brace and Hand therapy if an injection is not indicated. See a Hand specialist
Paresthesias: There are several possibilities depending on the precise distribution of the symptoms. Google separately images for ulnar nerve, median nerve and dermatomes. See which ones match best his symptoms. If these don't precisely fit the problem could also be in the spinal cord or brain. Have an evaluation by a neurologist to further help.
I have a burning pain that feels like its coming from my vein and it leads to my wrist. I haven't hurt it or done too much exercise?
I have a burning sensation in my wrist, I am being checked for a broken scaphoid. Nothing is showing on xrays. Had a brace on for 2 weeks still hurts?
Keko looking: Scaffoid fractures are sometimes tricky. Tell your doctor to have another X-ray with 3 views. They are bad fractures to have if it comes to that so you for sure want it treated

Ganglion Cyst: Consider a visit to a hand surgeon.
A burning sensation can be descriptive of nerve pain, some variations of migraine, and even central brain problems after a stroke. Have heard this said associated with phantom limb syndrome, reflex sympatheric dystrophy, and trigeminal neuralgia. Other patients might say ...Read more
