Ultrasound dating: First trimester ultrasound is accurate within 5-7 days. There is no test that can date conception more accurately than a 1 week window. While ultrasounds can be limited in obese people, as long as they can visualize fetus, measurements will be accurate. Transvaginal ultrasounds can be more accurate but more invasive.
