Sex Worker Condom
I had vaginal sex with sex worker, condom split i pulled out immediately. Am i at high risk of hiv? Please help! so worried
Low, but not zero.: Hello, of course it depends on whether the csw was infected, but if she was the risk would be about 5/10, 000. You should follow-up on this and get tested, not just for hiv, but for other sti's as well. For hiv, a baseline test is done, and then repeat test(s) in 1-6 months as there is a 'window' period before the test may convert. The clinician you see can explain this in more detail. ...Read more

I has intercourse with sex worker. Condom split with only split second exposure before i pulled out. What r chances or hiv? Or infection? I'm worried
Low but not zero: Definitely recommend getting tested. It takes a few months, typically to convert to hiv, so you can get tested now to confirm your negative status and then consider repeating the test in 3months. There are other stds to consider: chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis b and c. Good luck and i hope it all comes back negative. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I had protected vaginal sex with a sex worker. Condom didn't break. I sucked her nipples, I pressed them nothing came out. Am I at HIV risk? I'm a man
Had sex with a sex worker but condom broke with semen inside what are the possibilities of HIV or any disease?
Get tested: Sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhea or chlamydia would show positive during testing right after exposure. When it comes to viruses like herpes simplex or HIV it becomes trickier: tests may turn positive only after weeks (herpes) or months (HIV). Local health departments are a good source for information. ...Read more
I received a blowjob from a sex worker without condom. What are the chances of getting hiv. My penis was red after oral and after a day it was normal.
Low but possible: All it takes is an infected sex worker that has a mouth/tooth sore that oozes blood and enough contact to an abrasion on your penis. That type of activity can transfer the virus. That said, there are some enzymes in saliva that reduce transmission. Gonorrhea, hepatitis B and herpes can also be transmitted this way. ...Read more

I had sex for 1st tym with a sex worker used condom symtom.Weakness had loose stool now ok.Had p24 antigen on 20 day mark its negative afraid of hiv?
You used a condom: You used a condom. Your risk is only in your brain. You did not get hiv. I am going to be very frank. This is paranoia and guilt. There is no risk here for hiv. If i was your doctor i would do one more test in another month or two but would refuse any more tests. If there is a way you can get over your guilt then that would be the healthiest thing you can do. You do not have hiv. ...Read more

Dear doctori had protected sex (by condom) with a sex-worker woman, 20 days ago. I don't know any thing about her health. I am worried about hiv. Is it possible that i might have contractedit?
Get tested for STDs: Most people w/ a new HIV infection will test positive by approx 25 days post exposure. Although u should get tested sometime around a month post exposure, it's also recommended that u get tested again 12 weeks after the exposure. Be sure to get comprehensive std testing along w/ HIV testing. See sexualhealth.Com or go to a local std clinic or primary care doc. Use condoms and avoid sex workers. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
The condom broke during intercourse. As soon as the condom broke, I immediately pulled out. Could I still get an infection from the sex worker?
Hi, In Ausgust, I received an oral sex from a sex worker. I don't know when she put the condom on me but I saw a red condom . Am i at risk of HIV?
I had a sex (by condom) with a sex-worker woman. Test result after 16 days:
can i be sure?
Not sure.: Can't be sure, but a few things in your favor. #1 used condom. #2 did not mention any symptoms of acute HIV infection. #3 initial test is negative. Having said that none of these things is perfect. Should be tested again at 3 and 6 months to be absolutely certain. In interim, absolutely practice safe sex as you could potentially develop infectivity. ...Read more

Had protected sex with a sex worker 23 days ago. Should I be worried about the possibility of catching hiv/aids? The condom didnt break or anything. Also what are the chances of acquiring herpes if she didn't have an outbreak at the time.
With a sex worker, oral & vaginal only both protected. No condom slippage/breakage found. After sex, I filled condom with water & no leak. Am I safe?
Hard to say: By definition a sex worker is exposed to many more STD's than others. Condoms do not protect against sexual fluids that contact other body surfaces and are thus not 100% protective. You did the best you could in the situation. However, any sexual contact you have is a chance you can acquire a STD. ...Read more

Stop this practice..: If you are having sexual encounters with sex workers I would regularly get testing for sexually transmitted diseases just to be safe, even with protection. Of course I would avoid sexual encounters with sex workers in general as this is a risky practice and you are taking advantage of a vulnerable population and supporting a industry that harms and takes advantage of women. ...Read more
