Good: That said if you get pregnant there is a high (22%) preclinical loss rate of early pregnancies. The fertile period is usually about 14 days after the first day of your last menstrual period. However you can never be sure exactly when you ovulate. It is most accurate if you do a pregancy test 2 weeks after your scheduled missed period because of this variability. ...Read more

Could I be pregnant? I had unprotected sex for the first time in April but I've had 2 periods since & taken 3 pregnancy tests, all negative.

Pregnant?: Bleeding may be mistaken for a "period", but a true period lasts for 5-7 days, and usually has some cramping. To be certain you are not pregnant, get an HCG serum test from your healthcare provider. If positive, especially after your history of bleeding, see your provider for an exam and an ultrasound test. ...Read more

I had sex for the first time 6 days ago my period was sapost to start 4 days ago I took a home pregnancy test an came out positive is it possible?

Probably pregnant: Something with your math does not seem to be right. If you followed the instructions on your pregnancy test kit properly and the test came back positive then you are pregnant. Either you did not have sex when you thought you had sex or you were not supposed to come on your period when you thought you were supposed to come on. ...Read more

Safe intimacy: Condoms are pretty reliable in preventing pregnancy, especially if used properly. Check out http://www. Cdc. First depo shot on Jan 14, day 2 of cycle. Unprotected sex several times Jan 23, negative pregnancy test today. Extra sensitive test. Odds of pregnant?

< 0.1% (very low): If used properly (1 shot every 12 weeks, and no unprotected sex until 7 days after the first shot if started mid-cycle), then less than 1/100 women on depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) will become pregnant in a given year despite regular sex without another means of protection. That puts the monthly failure rate at about 0.08%, and you are describing proper use. So, virtually zero chance. ...Read more
