Can motrin and Aleve be taken together for tooth pain my 13 yr old has severe pain and needs a root canal but motrin alone doesn't seem to be working

See your dentist now. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

Swelling may be from a periodontal issue, so yes, in that case root canal may not be needed. More info necessary to make a proper diagnosis. Have your dentist re-examine you or refer you to an endodontist if s/he can't determine the cause of your swelling. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Filling could be "high, " nerve of tooth could be slowly dying, could be jaw joint involvement, could be so many other things. Go back for reevaluation. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
