Bruise: At your age it's still most likely that you bumped or struck the area and just didn't realize it, causing the bruise. Alternatively, it could be a bug bite or, even more rare, this could be a sign of an underlying bleeding disorder. For now i would give it time and conservative treatment, but if symptoms persist or worsen then see a physician. ...Read more

Hemangioma?: You don't say how old your daughter is. If she is an infant, she may be developing one of the many types of hemangiomas, which are collections of blood vessels under the skin. There are different types - some are bright red, and some are not even really all that discolored but give that "squishy" sensation. They usually enlarge over first year of life.
