Butterbur: There are excellent herbal and mineral treatments that seem to help with migraine. A good health food store can provide literature. Willow bark and butterbur are examples. Anti-nausea treatments are useful as are sedatives. The photophobia is the brain's protection that forces you to close your eyes and sleep. If you can't drive.: It sounds like a severe migraine. Headaches from an aneurysm in your head would also be very severe, but usually much worse symptoms after one day. Since this has gone on several days I think you're safe with respect to any ruptured aneurysm. And urgent care or ER visits with an MRI would be recommended. ...Read more
