Depends: Thigh pain in the front is usually from scar tissue from the hip joint tightening up from sitting too much. Stretching the hip and quad can help. Pain in the upper thigh behind the hip is usually from sciatic nerve irritation in the lumbar spine, or infrequently from scarring at the surgery site. Does it hurt when you press on the area. U R a minor but U--: -need an answer. U must share this with Ur parents! Quad pain may B due 2 overuse, or 2 rapid elevation of Ur program. B sure U have a day of rest after a hard workout. Hip pain is more of a worry. There R conditions such as femoral acetbular impingement, or poor acetabular coverage of the femoral head.
