I've just had a gastroscopy for coeliac. Showed gastritis. Bloated and severe stitch pain in side. Sometimes pain / burning under ribs. Please help!

Had negative CT w/ contrast for abdo pain 3 days ago. Still groin pain after bm. Bouts of severe nausea. Bad pain in side by middle ribs. No diarrhea/vomiting. Feel fine otherwise. What could it be?

Hmm: If the pain is within days/weeks of the colostomy then you need to get urgent evaluation by the general surgeon and your primary care provider. If the pain is "chronic" as in more than 6 months, then you should also get an opinion from your general surgeon, but then you might also consider seeing an orthopedist. ...Read more
