Need exam: Your symptoms suggest cubital tunnel syndrome ( ulnar nerve entrapment @ elbow) but a thorough history and physical exam is required to confirm. Supraspinatus( rotator cuff) injuries can occasionally present as you describe but this would be unusual. I was diagnosed with bronchitis 5 days ago and although i feel a little better today i started having sharp severe pain under my left shoulder blade ?

Several possiblities: Could be pneumonia or pleurisy, but sounds like a rib dysfunction, ie the rib gets 'knocked out of whack' by coughs.Often presents w/ sharp or severe achy pain, worse with deep inhalation or exhalation.)it's easily treatable by osteopathic manipulation, if it is the cause.
