Pain: It's definitely not your gallbladder. There is something known as primary common bile duct stones, which can form in the tube connecting the liver and intestine. Also, could be an ulcer, inflammation if the pancreas, or even a muscle spasm. Best to see your primary care provider to check it out. May need some blood tests &/or imaging. I would first go for an echocardiogram and thallium stress test first. Maybe not Gut: Could be ur ribs or rather the small joint spaces in between the ribs called costochondritis which is better treated with ibuprofen or NSAIDS in general. Key is it if it hurts when u press on area or take deep breaths. With IBS, constipation can be an issue, and if that is in ur case, then working on ur Bowel movements is key with fiber, hydration, stool softeners or laxatives. ...Read more
