Migraines for example can affect both head and gut ("intestinal migraine"). Please however don't contribute to your stomach upset by taking excessive nsaid's aimed at alleviating head ache. Need to know why...: If you have a bacterial infection, amox may help... But it should only be used if recommended by your doctor. There are many causes for earache-- one could be your recent filling, another would be eustachian tube dysfunction from allergies or a virus. It allows prostate to relax (opposite of decongestants which cause relative constriction). Also avoid most (older) antihistamines eg diphenhydramine. Since i was trained in america, I have no idea what's available in australia. See if you can get alfuzosin or silodosin or 5ari. ...Read more

Unwise- : Your doctor needs to see you while having symptoms. Taking abx by yourself will make it more difficult for your doctor to diagnose what is going on since 1) you may mask symptoms , 2) increase the chances of complications caused by the abx you are taking, and 3) increase the chances of developing a multi-drug resistant bacteria. In the meantime, symptomatic relief with Ibuprofen is suggested. ...Read more
