Colitis: This may be due to a viral intestinal infection in view of the diarrhea with mucus but the Pain is unusually severe for that. If severe lower abdominal discomfort persists and especially if there is tenderness with it, you should be evaluated by a physician now. Basically, every time we eat, our body releases hormones that stimulate the entire GI tract to begin contract at regular intervals (not just the stomach, but lower GI tract also). Need to examine: Bleeding from the lower end needs to be evaluated by a physical examination. It is likely to be hemorrhoids, however, even that needs to be addressed by a doctor and you should see one.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
