Severe lower abdomen pain and lower butt pain after bowel movement?

Severe lower abdomen pain and lower butt pain after bowel movement?

Hemorrhoids likely.: This is likely due to hemorrhoids. The history strongly suggest it, since pain is after a bowel movement, and likely associated with straining. It could be anal fissure, or possibly another colon/anal issue. Depending on your age, and if this has been going on a while, you might want to see your doctor to get a rectal exam/testing to make sure it is not worse, like cancer, etc.. ...Read more

The gastrointestinal tract starts at the mouth, travel down the tunnel (esophagus), which connects to the stomach, which then empties into the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum---the three parts of the small intestine (@25 feet). This empties into the colon or large intestine (about 5 feet), which then becomes the sigmoid colon, rectum and out the anus. So, every morsel eaten ...Read more

Been having lower back ache and lower abdominal ache with (sorry) lots of gas and loose bowel movements over the last 5 days. Now feel hot to touch to?

Gas, diarrhea: May have an infection, gastroenteritis. Did you eat somewhere new? Travel? Since it is lasting 5 days would go to urgent care and have stool checked for bacteria.May be camphylobacter for which zithromax helps, or salmonella, shigella E coli (usually try cipro (ciprofloxacin) but now it is more resistant). Also probiotics can help rebalance to intestinal flora, simethacone breaks gas but go to doctor urgent car ...Read more

Pain in lower back/abdomen, cramping, stomach pain with nausea during bowel movements. 5 days dihareah & pain, finally solid with same symptoms above?

Gastroenteritis: There are multiple possible explanations here. My advice would be to see a doctor if, within the next several days, the symptoms continue despite the resolution of the diarrhea. The inflammation produced by the infecting organism (if this is due to infection) may produce residual inflammation causing the abdominal pain and nausea. ...Read more

Feeling movements in stomach, sharp side pains, feel pressure pushing out in ribs, lower abdomen pain, pelvic pain. Had tubes tied 6yrs ago. Recently had neg urine test, neg pelvic utrsnd. Said uterus seems normal size. Could I still be pregnant?

Unlikely: If you have doubts, you may do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

Upper lower abdominal pain worse with bowl movement. Runny stools but wen have firm there are indents. Mucus and sometimes blood in stools.

May be significant: Abdomenal pain with runny stools in your age group could indicate inflammatory bowel disease (ibd). Blood in stools is always abnormal. You need a colonoscopy at the minimum and this could tell the tale. It may be something as simple as hemorrhoids, but with runny stools, especially if there is weight loss, is more indicative of ibd. See a good gastroenterologist or colo-rectal surgeon. ...Read more

Melena: Black tarry stool, otherwise known as melena, can sometimes be due to diverticulitis, but certainly can be a sign of bleeding in the upper digestive tract. You should share this new finding with your doctor and see if it affects her working differential. You may need tests to rule out an upper gastrointestinal source of bleeding. I am experiencing lower abdominal pain (side: right) and tender abdomen. Pain started suddenly. 2 days. What could it be? It won't ease or go away.

Dr. Checks appendix: Lower right abdominal discomfort can be from many things. For pain there, appendicitis is always a concern (pain usually worsens over time, with fever coming on). If one is constipated for several days, stool can back up all the way to the right side, and cause discomfort or pain. Gallstones and kidney stones can also cause pain. One's primary care doctor or an ER doctor can check now. ...Read more
