Yes: Normal opening pressure is up to 15. You can have all of the sx you describe with an opening pressure of 18. There is connection from the upper airway to the ear ( eustachian tube ) which is functionally closed but can be opened with heavy sneezing or pressure . Did you have a short moment of confusion? dizziness?during or following the landing? or the symptoms came later like 12-24 hours later?
