Can septoplasty/turbinate reduction cause apnea-like symptoms (gasping for air at night) for a couple of weeks after surgery due to stopped nose?

Remember that apnea means the breathing stops for ten seconds or more. True apnea is more likely to happen in someone that may be predisposed to it. The blockage following surgery is temporary. ...Read more

I have a 1 month baby born with a prominent broad nasal bridge. Is there something to be done at this age for this craniofacial abnormality?
May be normal: We get so used to the way older kids and adults look that sometimes we are bothered by normal variations in a newborn.
