Red itchy skin & ears & swollen glands in neck since moving to new place. Gets worse after i've been in laundry room. Using same detergents. Help!
Allergic reaction: We can develop allergies even if we haven't changed the type of products we use. I would start by changing my laundry detergent to a hypoallergenic one. Itchy Skin: Itchy skin can be a result of medications. It can also be do to excessive dryness in you house in the winter time. This is known as winter itch eczema. Soaps and laundry detergents can also be responsible. Use a body cleanser like cetaphil and use all free & clear for you laundry. Mild soaps/moisturiz: I'd recommend a mild soap like Dove Sensitive Skin or Cetaphil. A daily moisturizer that is scent free ( like Cetaphil or Vanicream ). Use dye-free & color-free laundry detergents on your clothes and bedding. ...Read more
