•Vitality: >58% live sperm
•Progressive motility: >32%
•Total motility: >40%
•Sperm morphology: >4% normal forms
Other values that various labs may report:
•White blood cells count: <1 million cells/ml
Semen testing: Sperm motility and morphology in semen analysis are difficult tests to standardize, and tend to be subjective. Additionally, correlation with fertility is not absolute.
