Idk how I know but sometimes, when I am sleeping I feel my body or limbs shake like I am having seizure. I can't stop it or wake up. What is happening?
Shaking at night: I can't tell you what is happening, but i can tell you that it is not a common generalized seizure because then you would be unconscious. There is a common disorder that occurs at night called myoclonic jerks, but these movements are sudden and intermittent jerks of the arm and/or legs. They do not tend to go on all night. I would consider causes like stress or drugs. ...Read more

I have an avm over my primary and secondary motor cortex focal seizures to right upper extremities didn't show on EEG . Why not?
Negative EEG: The eeg is often normal in people with focal seizures, especially if the seizure occurs without loss of consciousness. This is because a seizure has to involve a minimum area of cortex for it to be seen on the surface of the scalp. The signal is attenuated through bone and scalp. Also, a seizure focus can occur deep inside or be oriented parallel to the scalp and not be seen on eeg. ...Read more
Eeg normal. Had facial and limb twitching during eeg. History of convulsion after head injury. No history of epilepsy so far. Any ideas of cause?
?myoclonus?: My concern would involve the number and intensity of your szs themselves, as this is a question of control, and truly, the residual jerks may merely represent ongoing focal sz activity, but could potentially point out a sub therapeutic medication situation. This is very complex, so, see a neurologist who can assist you in acquiring full control if possible. ...Read more
