Would suggest you review your symptoms with ophthalmologist. You will need a complete eye exam with dilation to make sure of correct diagnoses.

Not sure if just floaters. Been seeing small black spots in vision. Occur 1 at a time for only a second. Opthamologist says eyes look fine. Vascular?

Neurologist?

Sometimes people get the floaters but no headaches that are often associated with certain types of migraines. A neurologist may have to evaluate if your problem continues.

Spots in vision from tooth abscess?

Not typical

Tooth_abscess
An abcessed tooth will not typically effect your vision. There is something else going on here. Did you have trauma? Was this spontaneous? See an opthomologist for an evaluation ASAP.

Dr. Avi Bitton answered:

What would cause me to get black spots in vision and like gnats?

Floaters

Vision
Could be caused by cellular debris floating in the vitreous gel of the eye. A dilated eye exam called indirect ophthalmoscopy should be performed by your ophthalmologist to make sure that there is not a treatable condition.

Sort of getting blind spots in vision, hot flashes, headache, ringing in ears?

See your doctor

Ear
Those are symptoms that together raise a red flag that you need to be evaluated. Could be as simple as stress, dehydration, med reaction BUT could also be symptoms of migraine, perimenopausal hormone fluctuations or other more concerning issues. You need to be seen.

Bent down to get something and stood up really fast. Got black spots in vision. Why is this?

Low BP

When you stand up too quickly, the blood rushes from your brain causing dizziness and blurred vision. Try to do this a little slower.
