Dependent edema: Edema or swelling that results from having legs down (like in a chair) that worsens during the day is likely dependent edema (also not engaging muscles that facilitate venous return). I have twitching pain arms back legs hips stomach jelly legs small headackes lot of blood test MRI spine neuro exam good doc says gad me brain tumor?
Anxiety: By gad, i assume you mean generalized anxiety disorder. Blood tests won't tell you about a brain tumor. Neither will an MRI of your spine. And if brain tumor is too small to affect your neurologic function, a neuro exam might not demonstrate it. So if you don't believe a "good doc", then get a second opinion. Btw if brain ct or MRI is negative, then very unlikely to be brain tumor. ...Read more

My baby , male , 8 months, when i try to make him stand , by holding him with my both hands he puts his body weight on one leg , other leg loose?
He's a little young: For standing. At 7-8 mos., it's typical for babies to do " jumping jacks" when placed in a stand. Gross motor or large muscle skills progress head-to-toe the 1st year. Getting to a sit & up on all fours for crawling are 6-8 mo. Milestones; pulling to a kneel, then to a stand are @ 9-10 mo. Having said that, asymmetry should be checked by his doctor to rule out hip dysplasia or a neurological issue. ...Read more
My mom has Carpet Beetle Nite Marks all over her lower legs (I'd say around 25-30) on each leg. She has intensive scratching. What treatment is good?
Yes, but: Usually surgery would be required. If you have had bowed legs since childhood, then it would require substantial surgery to reshape the legs. If the bowed legs have developed in adulthood, then it may be related to your knees, in which case knee surgery may work. Although bowed legs can be cosmetically displeasing, most orthopedists would not advise surgery unless they are affecting your function. ...Read more

Tlow back pain, legs give out, hot pins n needles in feet. Saw dr lumbar xrays normal? See neuro? What now?
MRI: An x-ray is usually not helpful at all in cases with symptoms like this. Mris provide much more information. Back pain with pain down the leg(s) and numbness/tingling in the feet is lumbar radiculopathy (pinched nerve in the back) until proven otherwise. Oral Prednisone and nsaids are helpful, but a complete evaluation by a spine specialist (usually pm;r doctor or anesthesiologist) is needed. ...Read more

Needs evaluation: These are all sites that likely itch & your passive scratching could plant a number of germs.
