I was given a shot of cortisone in a sebaceous cyst on my face and it seemed to go away but now it's coming back is there anything I can do?
I pierced a sebaceous cyst on my face. I squeezed gunk out but now i'm left with a smaller lump with a deep hole which not heal over. Help please?

I had this sebaceous cyst on my right cheek(face) for 3 yrs. Had steroid injected 2 times. It got smaller but will the cyst sac still be there?
No: So a sebaceous cyst can shrink or get infected and grow - but it is never really completely gone unless it is resected (removed) surgically. Treat the cyst: It sounds to me that your cpap system is irritating the cyst. In that case before the cyst becomes infected I rec that you see your physician and have the cyst properly drained and the sac removed reducing the chance of it recurring.
