I have a bump on my scrotum. Bump is skin colored. 28 hours after possible exposure to std. Is this an ingrown hair or irritation from shaving?
ANy of above: The "bump" could be any of the things you mention, or other things as well. Without looking at the area and getting more history (like what STD may you have been exposed to - something like herpes that gives skin lesions...), then it is really impossible to diagnose. Cyst?: If the bump is on the scrotum itself, it is most likely a sebaceous or inclusion cyst. It's filled with dead skin cells, and can get infected occasionally. They can be removed fairly simply.
