Unlikely pregnant: If he did not ejaculate to your vagina and you just " scratched" with some of ejaculate liquid on your finger -you unlikely to become pregnant! sperm had to go all the way to vagina to reach a cervix and than move up further to fertilize an egg. If any doubt - check pregnancy test and use emergency contraception pill. Always use condom! Recommend also to speak to your doctor to be more educated.

Lightening: It is not the kind of lightening that strikes from the sky, rather it is the process of the baby dropping into the pelvis. There is usually a lot of pelvic pressure when that happens until labor actually starts.

No to oragel!: Sorry, missed the scratched part, that degree of trauma needs to be looked at, and a bit more care b/w you and your girl friend. That degree of pain could be related to infection from the finger nails or whatever did the trauma. See the doc.

I think I scratched my vagina wall when pulling out/putting in a tampon because my period was light cuz it burns when I put my finger in like a cut.?

Cut vs infection: It could be a number of things and without a physical exam, it would be hard to determine what is going on. I suggest you see a physician for an exam. I recommend no tampons until you see the doctor.

I have a cold sore on my lip, I forgot to wash my hands then I scratched my vagina. Does that mean I will get herpes? What is the chance?

I have a cold sore on my lip, I forgot to wash my hands then I scratched my vagina. Does that mean I will get herpes? What is the chance?

Herpes simplex: It is unlikely that you will transfer the virus to your vaginal area. Most commonly the cold sore you have, if due to herpes simplex, is a recurrence at the site of your original infection with this virus, and that most often happens in the same place it was inoculated. Although it is conceivable that you will recur in another site it is very very unlikely.

I got scratched inside my vagina with a fingernail. Can that cause an infection?

I got scratched inside my vagina with a fingernail. Can that cause an infection?

Scratch injury: Sometimes indeed a break in the skin can lead to an infection. A scratch from a fingernail is considered 'low risk' fortunately -because it's a relatively open type wound and not very deep. (Unlike some other types of injuries). The body has a very good immune system and I don't expect any major complications from this. If you have pain, some discharge, ? visible redness or other symptoms see an MD

Vaginal bleeding: The lining of the vagina can easily bleed if scratched. Scratching inside the vagina with fingernails would not be enough to cause serious damage. Light bleeding will eventually stop. If the bleeding goes on for days it may require an examination to get it stopped. Heavy bleeding with passage of clots would require an exam very soon.

Herpes: Have you gotten check for herpes and received anti-virals? A lot of time, herpetic lesions can be confused with regular bacterial infections especially when they become secondarily infected. There is a blood test for herpes and if you turn +, you will need anti-viral meds.

Cervix: Bleeding due to sexual activity is usually due to a cervical lesion or erosion. It would be prudent to see your doctor for an examination that can only be done in person. If you have not had it, get a PAP smear, if you are younger than 27, get HPV vaccine. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
