I have the transderm scop (scopolamine) patches and dramamine. Which one will work better with less side effects?
I prefer scop patch: I find that transderm scop (scopolamine) is both well tolerated and effective. Perhaps even better is half a scop patch, but if you do this, carefully wash your hands after cutting / applying to keep the scopolamine off your fingers & out of your eyes. Use scopalamine patch for nausea. Can I take noretriptilene at same time. (for autonomic disorder.). will there be a side effects. I am 60 yrs old.
Always Side Effects: Both together may increase side effects such as drowsiness,blurred vision,dry mouth,heat intolerance, flushing, decreased sweating, difficulty urinating, abdominal cramping, constipation,rapid heart beats, confusion,& memory problems.These more likely to occur in your age group. Because Donnatal (phenobarbital atropine hyoscyamine and scopolamine) has scopolamine in it,does it give you any amnesia like effects? I was given a dose in the ER and now I am worried about side effect
R dialated pupil for 6 days. Poss side effect of transderm scop (scopolamine) patch, risks with it being dialated this long? How get back! HELP!
Scopolamine SEs: this medication can certainly cause a dilated pupil on the side of use. Generally the patch is worn for 3 days - so I wonder how long you've had it on? Also if u touch the gluey surface of the patch, then rub your eye you can dilate the pupil that way by getting the medicine directly in your eye. Can transdermal scopolamine patches be removed and reapplied? My insurance won't cover them, and I usually only need them for a single day.
