Yes: If you have an allergy to one of the ingredients in the mouthwash you can have a reaction. Also, many mouthwashes contain alcohol. Using these multiple times a day can harm tissues in your mouth and lead to big trouble. May irritate: you can try rinsing with the Colgate mouthwash and see if it irritates your ulcer. I'd advise using Rincinol by Butler Gum to help sooth the ulcer which should normally take a little over a week to resolve. If that doesn't help your Dentist can prescribe a special mouthwash to alleviate the discomfort. If it is still persistent have your dentist examine it. Hope you feel better. ...Read more
