Hi akash, age 21.I go jim night 8:00pm n comeback 9:00pm.Then I eat like cheese, eggs, banana shake. But when I go toilet in morning all comes out why?
6mo Baby rolled from crawling to back and hit head w/hardwood floor and possibly door frame. Cried a bit, played, fed, fell asleep. Reason to go to ER?
Head: No, especially if the baby is acting fine. Watch for extreme irritability, vomiting in the first 4-12 hrs after any potential injury, and if so then ER. But if the baby was on the floor and rolled and hit head, that mechanism of injury shouldn't be severe. If fell off bed onto hardwood floor, then different story. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
8:30pm, felt something on/graze hair, heard it crash land on branch next to me w/quiet chirp. Possibly bat? Felt no pain. Rabies vaccine recommended?
Better do: Rabies vaccine won't harm unless you are allergic to any of its components or are immune compromised, whether to take rabies immune globulin with first dose yet to be decided as there is no clear wound, one other reason to take the vaccine, if you go often to the woods or exposed often to wild life, call poison control center and check this link http://www.cdc.gov/rabies/resources/contacts.html# ...Read more
7yr old boy has huge tantrums, cries for hours throws, hits, stomps, yells, is mean, hurts himself over small things. what do I do? School even calls
Needs work: At 7, with these symptoms, you need professional help.Your doc will likely know what resources you have in your area, but I suspect you will need training in coping with the problem and the kid needs someone to assess his need for and type of therapy. This is not something you should try to manage yourself. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
So my mom was bent over cleaning outside & she got up too fast & hit her hed on this old rusty, fire extinguisher box and now she's bleeding. What do we do?
What to do.: If she doesn't know when her last tetanus shot was, or it has been > 10 years, she needs to get another shot. If the wound is very deep or is gaping - she may need staples, stitches or to have it taped. If she is dizzy, has visual changes, loss of consciousness, headache - she needs to be evaluated for a concussion. I just now saw this question - so don't know how long ago you asked it. ...Read more

My 2 yo was in front of shopping cart. Bros jumped on cart & knocked it forward to ground. Don't think he hit head or very lightly. No crying. Worry?
Generally no concern: Most of the time if a child hits himself against an object, falls on a hard surface and the like just observe your child. Of course, settings and children are different. Generally if no loss of consciousness, child is herself/himself, then just observation should be enough. However, if the child shows any odd behivior, then an emergency evaluation would be wise. Most importantly remain calm! ...Read more
Limit screen time: It is recommended to really limit screen time for kids. At this age, they really don't need any screen time at all. You might want to consider moving the kiddo to their own room, if you have one for them. Otherwise having the tv off might be a good idea. Reading to them is a great idea. ...Read more

5 yo clumsy. Walks w/ toes out. Eval by ortho. said he'd outgrow it. Today he was running on driveway and fell face first on nose. Big scrape. Worry?
Will happen again: The environment is full of bugs. Your hands probably harbor similar bugs to the floor (or worse) and that's why you're supposed to wash them before you touch your baby. The likelihood of anything bad happening is not high. If baby seems fine, then nothing to worry about. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
26 weeks pregnant. Can I safely use Raid Ant baits for ants in my bathroom? Will ant baits hurt baby?
My 4yr old is 3ft tall but only 26 pounds, is it safe for her to sit forward facing in a car seat or should I keep her rear facing until she gains wgt?
REAR FACE: After 3+decades as a pedi and 16 years as a certified Child Passenger Safety Tech, I wish more parents like you asked the question. The seat absorbs more energy in a rear facing position that would otherwise throw the babies head forward and risk spinal cord injury. The best practice is to rear face until the RF weight limit of your seat. Most convertible seats now have 40-50 lb RF limit. ...Read more

My 19 mo toddler boy throwing toys or hitting on purpose to go to timeout. Why? And other suggestions? Maybe do it wrong. He likes hug reward at end.
Reward: A child's job at this age is to test limits. That's how they discover the rules of their world. They test you to see what limits you will set for them. However, if you give me a mild punishment and then a large reward, then there is no real punishment. You should eliminate the hugging, and any praise, after the punishment. Simply take another time out and say a stern "no-hit" and move on. ...Read more
My 4w newborn HATES tummy time. She can't go beyond 5 minutes without crying uncontrollably. I don't know what to do. I think she torticollis.
Not Unusual: Many newborns don't like tummy time until they're able to move around and even turn over. It's not critically important now Torticollis is a neck muscle stiffness that responds to physical therapy. If you feel your child has a head tilt or can't move the neck freely, see your doctor soon. the sooner it's recognized the faster it responds ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
