What can sciatica (when other causes are ruled out by pcp, rheum, & physiatrist, including w/ use of MRI & ultrasound) be caused by? Lupus?If so, how?
Many possibilities: If lumbar spine MRI is normal it's pretty unlikely you have a pinched nerve in the back. Some other possibilities include nerve irritation in the pelvis. Look up piriformis syndrome and see if that matches your pain. Also, the sacroiliac joint can sometimes cause sciatica like pain. Sometimes this is muscle pain. I have had a hysterectomy, started having abdominal cramps and low back pain yesterday that is getting worse. Not sure what I should do. I was diagnosed with lupus 15 years ago.
Im complement deficient. What does this mean? Low C3 and c4. joint pain, low back pain, rashes, anisocoria, low tsh, fatigue etc and it's not lupus

Not likely: Why worry about 3 disorders, as you likely possess one unifying diagnosis to explain your problems. A good place to start is with an endocrinologist to deal with diabetes and the complications secondary to this. Focus on these issues, and later, if things seem peculiar look into co-morbities. Can I have Lupus if my ANA is positive, tired is 1:320 homogeneous diffuse, but ENA panel is negative. I do have some s/s?
