Your: Your symptoms could be premenstrual, although there is a possibility you could be pregnant, however having symptoms so soon is not very common. As far as the ovulation prediction kits are concerned, they are not 100% accurate and also you may be testing too early or too late, it is very difficult to say. Try to relax and not hink so much about it. You just had the iud removed, take your time and hopefully you will become pregnant very soon. Lastly, you can take an early prediction pregnancy test one week before your expected period.
Best of luck. ...Read more

On hmg, 17mm folli on cd13 so scheduled trigger for cd15, had cramps on cd14 and cd15 u.S shows collapsed folli n fluid in pod. Did I ovulate on my own?

Very likely: Given the presence of a dominant follicle that then "collapses" it is very likely that you ovulated on your own. This can easily be determined by a Progesterone level or ovulation predictor kits. ...Read more

Unprotected sex DEC.19&26. And again on Jan 2 &5 now my discharge is a lil pinkish. I'm scheduled to ovulate on 10th. What's going on could I be pregn?

Pg always possible.: Anytime a fertile woman has unprotected sex, pregnancy is possible. Also, anybody who does not use protection, can get a sexually transmitted disease. Get checked for STD's now. 2 weeks after your last episode of unprotected sex, or, more usually, 2 days after your regular period starts you can check a pregnancy test, depending on the type you use. Practice safe sex from now on, too. ...Read more

Unprotected sex with no withdrawal method April 13th - April 16th! My ovulation date is scheduled for April 17th, took plan b April 17th will it work?

Plan b: If you take plan b within 72 hours of unprotected sex it will reduce the risk of pregnancy by 89 %, if you take it within 24 hours it is 95% effective. So maybe. I suggest if you get your period you need a better method of birth control. Good luck. ...Read more

Can you fall pregnant if you have intercourse 1 day after scheduled ovulation date?

Possibly: After ovulation the egg is only good for 12 hours to be fertilized. So if you don't have intercourse until after ovulation then it is not likely that you will get pregnant. However, if you are not sure exactly when you are ovulating then I would recommend waiting at least 3 days after you think you ovulated to have unprotected sex. ...Read more

July 23rd I had a cyst rupture. My period was due July 29th but did not come until August 3rd. Can I still ovulate on regular schedule? Or later?

Sometimes ruptured: Cysts do not release an egg (ovum) and the normal hormones that follow normal ovulation might be messed up in this cycle. Altho only time will tell, most likely you will soon cycle normally. Keep in mind that 5 days late is still a pretty regular cycle. Best wishes. Dr. Anne. ...Read more

I had sex last week... Not during ovulation... He pulled out...My period showed up on Saturday, as scheduled but only lasted a day...what should I do?

Pregnancy worries?: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after starting a "weird" period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant. ...Read more

Why do so many dr.'s have diff. Opinions on what cd is too late to ovulate on? Some say past cd18, some say cd16 what is the truth to this or is there

The truth: It depends on the length of a women's cycle. You generally ovulate approximately 14 days from the length of your cycle. In other words, if your cycle is 28 days, you ovulate on day 14, 30 days, day 16, 32 days day 18, 26 days day 12. So making love every other day from day 12-18 covers you for ovulation for a day 26-32 day cycle. Make sense? Hope this helps. ...Read more

How does ovulation works?

Ovulation Process: Ovulation (release of the egg) is a complex interaction of the brain (hypothalamus), pituitary and ovary. The ovary actually controls the cycle. Fsh stimulates the follicle and 1 ovulates (most receptive of 500+ that grow each cycle), estrogen from foll is signal to brain to trigger ovul (lh). Ovul releases egg and starts genetic meiosis. How I know I'm ovulating?

Urine ovulation kit.: It is not easy to know for sure you are ovulating. Partly, it depends on how regular and far apart your periods are. Some women believe they can tell by a pain (mittelschmertz) they have around the time of presumed ovulation, but ultrasound studies don't verify this. The home urine ovuilation tests tell when there is a lh rise, which typically precedes ovulation. Temperature tests rarely help. ...Read more
