Can i use hexilak gel for ice pick and box car scars ?

Can i use hexilak gel for ice pick and box car scars ?

Depends: If the scar is excessive it might help. A study showed some benefit, but the size of the study was small: only 30 people. That is not enough to give a statistically significant result really. It may be worth a try. If the scar is flat already, it won't do much. It helps with keloids or hypertrophic scarring (exaggerated scar formation) See http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2918339/ ...Read more

Help, I put toothpaste on a pimple and burned my face. The scar has fallen off but it has left a dark scar. Can scar gel help? Also, how long would it take for the scar to fade as I am very worried. Thank you

Acne: It is very hard not to touch/squeeze/abuse pimples. Toothpaste probably didn't make things worse. A pimple is a pocket of inflammation; after it heals it can be darker or sometimes lighter than the surrounding skin. This can take a long time to fade. You should not worry, although you may be self conscious. It will get better. ...Read more
