I had back surgery and I have a bruise on the right side and pain near the scar on my spine. What could be causing this?
I recently had back surgery and the scar is getting somewhat tight when I bend or lean. I put Arbonne neck cream there. Are there better products?
Yes: I like Mederma Skin Care for Scars. It is available over the counter in the drugstore. Most of these products need daily application for up to a year while the scar matures. After a year the scar is usually what you will be left with. The ingredients are not as important as using it daily to help moisturize the skin. There are other helpful products available at the drugstore as well. ...Read more
I had back surgery in december this was because my previous surgery caused a infection why does the scar burn like fire 1st surgery was to put rods in lower back this caused a bow in my back so he went back in and put longer rods this cause bones in my
I : I am so sorry to hear of your unfortunate situation. Obviously you need close follow up with the surgeon in order to address your complaints. As far as the scar burning "like fire", this is likely nerve pain due to nerve damage sustained during the surgery. The nerve will regenerate but this will take time. In the meantime, there are medications aimed at relieving nerve pain (i.E neurontin, (gabapentin) lyrica) please ask your doctor about these medications. I wish you the very best. ...Read more

May not be adhesions: Without knowing all the issues regarding your intestine it may not be the adhesions. We need more of a background of understanding why you're having these type of symptoms what was the original work up. What was the reason for surgery, and what did your gastroenterologist say.. I would advise you discuss this with your gastroenterologist ...Read more
Scar tissue after microdiskectomy causing same pain in back and leg as before surgery according to 2nd MRI will i need further surgeries to correct?
More not better: Scar tissue builds after every surgery. Scar can cause some of the pain but usually traction of the nerve which is scarred in place is the culprit during movement. Removing scar doesn't typically help- first rule of surgery is "scar begets scar"- meaning that more surgery only causes more scar. See your spine surgeon or get another opinion and even get an evaluation from a pain specialist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What r success rates after having surgery to remove scar tissue from tubes (c-section) - larcoscopy. my hsg came back with one side not disperse dye ?
Very high: The success rates from freeing up externally adherent Fallopian tubes is very high as long as the adhesions don't reform after the second surgery. Many surgeons use an adhesive barrier to prevent that from occurring at the time of the surgery. The good news is that it only takes one open Fallopian tube to get pregnant again. ...Read more

Bakers cyst?: Pain in the back of the knee after arthroscopic surgery can be quite a few things but a common cause is a Baker's Cyst.
