Scar Silicone Sheet
I have used dr. schools corn remover and the corn is shiny and embarrassing to look at. Can I use scar away silicone sheets to rid the scar?
Actually Simple.: It sounds as though you have begun the process of "treating the treatment". The use of more and more product to treat the consequences of previous failed treatments. Understand that corns are the intended results of skin being trapped between bone and shoe. The remedy is to ether remove the shoe, and its offending pressure, or remove the bone. The corn is the body's way of protecting the toe. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can silicone gel sheet used on acne scars and mark left by acne and how long will it take to see the results?
Yes: Though it would be safe, i doubt that you would be able to keep the sheet in place long enough for it to be effective. For silicone gel sheeting to effectively flatten raised scars it should be used for, at least, 12-18 hours a day. There are more "convenient" ways to try and improve scars on the face. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can I use silicone sheets on my scar even though I have already gotten collagen injections there?
Sorry, i wrote a previous question too. Which would work better for scars? Mederma or silicone? Thanks!
Probably silicone: They both can help but the best answer is the one that you use correctly. Mederma's instruction is to massage the cream on the scar about four times a day; no one really does this. Silicone solution has to be applied daily and allowed to dry. Silicone pads have to be held in place on the scar for months. Use the product that works best for your scar location and lifestyle. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

them on hypertrophic scars?
And if there any risks can anyone tell me about them.
Not usually: More helpful on raised scars. Depressed scars more often require removal and repair to give the tissue margins better support under the skin. Depressions can occur with loss of deeper fat tissues, or if the wound separates due to tension after closure. See you local plastic surgeon for advice. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
