Savlon cleansing wipes with antiseptic. These should not be used on wounds. I cleaned a small cut with one without realising. Is this dangerous?
No.: Savlon wipes are marketed for "on the go" wound cleansing and hand sanitizing. It would be more "dangerous" to delay cleansing a fresh wound. As long as it moves in such expected postop course, you're ok. All you need to do is do nothing but keep the incision dry and clean. Why?
