I had a pulmonary embolism & a pulmonary infarct 1 1/2 years ago. Can i go into the sauna 2x a week or is the sauna not good for my lungs?
Depends: If your pulmonary embolism/infarct didn't compromise your heart or lung function than unless you have another medical condition that would complicate your being in a sauna, it shouldn't be a significant problem. If it just started happening hours or minutes ago and it is getting worse, seek immediate medical attention because it could be a heart attack or a pulmonary embolism.
