No: Liver sits on the right side in the upper portion of the abdomen. It would not cause symptoms on your left side. Sarcoid is a difficult disease to deal with. Can have many symptoms. Make sure you follow up with your treating doctor regarding these complaints. Sorry this was not more helpful. Best of luck

Chest pain: If you've inflammed an intercostal muscle or a chest wall muscle it can take some weeks to heal. Your chest is constantly moving with respiration and coughing irritates it also, both slow healing somewhat. You might be able to take Ibuprofen to make things more comfortable. It is isn't improving should see your doc.

See Doctor: Try otc med in the meantime if you don't have any pain med and you are not able to see your doctor. If this is a flare up- you may need a steroid treatment to help your pain. If you can't see your pcp then go to an acute care center for eval-.

Sarcidosis: What Are the Symptoms of Sarcoidosis? The symptoms of sarcoidosis can vary greatly, depending on which organs are involved. Most patients initially complain of a persistent dry cough, fatigue, and shortness of breath. Other symptoms may include: Tender reddish bumps or patches on the skin. Red and teary eyes or blurred vision. Swollen and painful joints. Enlarged and tender lymph glands in the neck, armpits, and groin. Enlarged lymph glands in the chest and around the lungs. Hoarse voice. Pain in the hands, feet, or other bony areas due to the formation of cysts (an abnormal sac-like growth) in bones. Kidney stone formation. Enlarged liver. Development of abnormal or missed heart beats (arrhythmias), inflammation of the covering of the heart (pericarditis), or heart failure. Nervous system effects, including hearing loss, meningitis, seizures, or psychiatric disorders (for example, dementia, depression, psychosis).

Will chest X-ray and ACE blood test be able to tell me for sure if I have/don't have sarcoidosis? Is there anything else that should be considered?

Will chest X-ray and ACE blood test be able to tell me for sure if I have/don't have sarcoidosis? Is there anything else that should be considered?

Sarcoidosis: Sarcoidosis can be difficult to diagnose because the disease produces few signs and symptoms in its early stages. Diagnostic tests include: c-rays, ct scan, mri, pet, blood tests, eye exams, biopsies, and lung function tests.

I have been having intermittent swelling of the lymphnodes on my head, behind ears recent swelling of rue and abnormal hilar chest xr. Sarcoidosis?

I have been having intermittent swelling of the lymphnodes on my head, behind ears recent swelling of rue and abnormal hilar chest xr. Sarcoidosis?

Need to see Doc.: Lymph nodes enlargement, swelling of rue, abnormal hilar shadow on cxr may suggest sarcoidosis, however, rue swelling is not a finding of sarcoidosis. Other serious conditions needs to be excluded like hodgkins, and non-hodgkins lymphoma and cancer. Ct scan of chest would be better at confirming hilar and mediastinal lypmh nodes. Lung specialist evaluation may be necessary if so.

Can you see sarcoidosis on chest xray? I am short of breath. When I stand

Can you see sarcoidosis on chest xray? I am short of breath. When I stand

Yes: Sarcoidosis frequently involves the lungs and a chest x ray and if needed, a ct scan, can show changes that are consistent with sarcoidosis. However, these findings are not specific for sarcoid as several other diseases can cause similar findings.

Few cases of iritis. Had chest and si joint x-rays. All fine. Does this rule out sarcoidosis? Had blood work too. All fine except HS CRP level is 2.6.

No: Spondyloarthropathy and sarcoid still must be considered. Early ankylosing spondylitis may not be recognized on si x-rays and other forms of spondylitis may spare the si.

Diagnosed with sarcoidosis in my chest lymph nodes. However I constantly have headaches and pressure in my left eye with eye floaters. What is it?

? Unrelated: Or a side effect of a medication you are on as steroids, if any. Kindly see an ophthalmologist soon to make sure eye pressure and back of your eyes are fine, besides rest of eye exam, good luck

I have had chest pain for 5 mos, an 8mm noncalcified nodule on my left lung, swollen left hilar and axillary lymph nodes and CRP is 12.4. Sarcoidosis?

Mgt/workup: This is in the differential of possible causes, and a biopsy may be performed so that your physician will have more information, before making a diagnosis.

Wow, you: Are suggesting that you have sle, like I like to say! God does not hand you to many autoimmune cards. Noe, Prednisone can increase your wbc. Sarcoidosis can give you large lymph nodes. Proper evaluation should clarify if sarcoid or lymphoma, and it may require biopsy.

I have EDS3/chronic back pain, for 3 days I've had worsening upper back and rib pain with a fever and can't raise my arms or bend/walk properly?

I have EDS3/chronic back pain, for 3 days I've had worsening upper back and rib pain with a fever and can't raise my arms or bend/walk properly?

To The ER With You!: Whether or not you have EDS3, your fever and inability to raise your arms is very concerning. Your description otherwise is rather vague (more details needed), so best to go see a doctor for an exam and get this figured out sooner than later. Obviously, you should have someone drive you (to an ER would be best) today.
