Sandy Stool When You Wipe Bm
Ihad a bm, I had to use my finger to remove stuck stool. I wiped and there was bright red blood. It took a few pieces if tp clean it up. What happened?
Hello, Can't: Accurately state cause of blood with information available. One cause of rectal bleeding is an anal fissure. However, a fissure causes usually severe pain with a bm ; you didn't mention pain (so doubt that). Your fingernails could cause trauma to delicate rectal tissue - so that might be a reason. If stool was stuck - it could be hard, dry and bulking - that can abraide tissues ; cause bleeding. ...Read more

Does the anus inflate when passing stool, or does it stay the same form so that when you wipe it feels as it would when it is relaxed?

Normally, the internal anal sphincter is contracted at rest (when not having bowel movement). When you have urge of bowel movement, the internal sphincter will relax (dilated in a way) for stool evacuation. ...Read more
20yr F. For about a week now ive noticed blood in my stool and when I wipe. There isn't a change in diet. What are possible diagnosis for this?
If you have hemorroids and you notice blood in your stool & see it when you wipe, how do you determine if its the hemorroids or something else?
Look inside: First, hemorrhoids do not typically cause blood "in" the stool. Bright red blood on the toilet paper or a few drops into the toilet would be common but not in the stool. The main this we would want to rule out would be a tumor or cancer, which would be unusual but not rare in a 31 year old. Tumors also usually do not bleed much. There is no reliable home test to tell the difference. ...Read more
